Public Policy

 You can make a difference by helping ABH influence public policy at the state and federal level. ABH is actively involved in shaping the policy agenda that impacts client services and your organization’s bottom line.

National Membership

By joining ABH, you will receive the benefits of our paid membership in the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, the national unifying voice of organizations that deliver mental health and substance use recovery services.

Stay Current on Industry Info

ABH members receive in-depth budget analysis, Behavioral Health Roadmap updates, e-Newsletters, and other announcements to remain well-informed. ABH members also can purchase our widely respected biannual salary survey.

Trainings & Networking

ABH sponsors special trainings, committee meetings, and association meetings to provide opportunities for our members to learn from their peers and gather latest information and resources.

Advocacy Partner

ABH works to improve rates, rules, and regulations and to obtain relief from administrative burden for state agencies and Medicaid managed care entities.

Committees

As a member of ABH, you and your fellow employees have the opportunity to join any of our 22 committees that meet on a monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly basis. 

Do I Qualify?

You may be considered for ABH Organizational Membership if you are providing community-based mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment services primarily within Massachusetts.


ABH's Organizational Membership dues are based on a percentage of your organization's mental health and substance use disorder treatment revenues plus a small percentage of other state-funded contracts through the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. Dues for Organizational Membership are assessed annually and billed quarterly.
